On the 4 January 2021, the Government announced a 国家封锁 in response to rising numbers of cases of COVID-19.

LFA teaches practical filmmaking courses 和 according to the current 政府ernment lockdown 规定 “should remain where they are wherever possible, 并在网上开始他们的学期, as facilitated by their university or college until at least mid-February.”

LFA staff will keep students updated about timetable changes 和 when practical in-person activities are expected to resume.

As a result, the 春季学期 start dates remain the same, but will commence with 在线授课.

LFA will offer Lateral Flow Detection tests (LFD) for COVID-19 for students 和 staff returning in for the 春季学期. Returning students should be tested twice upon their return to LFA, or they should self-isolate for ten days instead.

Students who are currently enrolled on existing courses or future courses taking place during this lockdown period should have received information about how we are continuing to deliver courses in a safe 和 effective way - should you need any further information please contact your Course Teams or our Admissions Team.

To ensure the health 和 safety of all our students we are following advice 和 guidance set out by the 英国政府, 健康及安全行政主任, 世界卫生组织, 英国bwin体育苹果下载iOS学会, 协议和 制作协会.

During the delivery of our courses we are taking the following safety measures:

Our fully trained staff are helping students follow preventative measures 和 advise on the health 和 wellbeing of all participants.
Rigorous 和 regular cleaning measures to ensure equipment, spaces 和 touch points are sanitised to prevent h和–to–h和 transmission.
Reduced class sizes 和 capacity for spaces to facilitate safe, social distancing measures 和 movement through the building.
Staggered class start times to avoid interaction with other groups during break periods 和 at the end of class.

Additional anti-transmission measures including protective screens 和 PPE for relevant in-person activities 和 workshops. We also require face coverings to be worn by all people when moving around the building. Clear face shields are an alternative for those who are exempt.

Strict entry 和 exit procedures to identify 和 prevent infection risks from outside sources.
